Selection Announcement

FIA announced that the 2026 FIA Karting Arrive & Drive Asia-Pacific Championship will be held at the Coloane Karting Track in Macau from September 11 to 13, 2026. The competition will be divided into two categories, Junior and Senior. Each category has a global entry grid of 56 competitors, with places awarded strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

The karts for the competition are provided by the organizers, drivers do not need to bring their own. The entry fee and kart rental fee total 3,950 euros, and a kart damage deposit of 1,500 euros. Drivers nominated via HKAA’s official selection process shall be eligible for the exclusive discounted entry rate. The above fees and all competition-related expenses are responsible by the selected drivers. The requirements for participating drivers are as follows:

Junior category

Age requirement: Born between 2012 and 2014

Licence requirement: Hold a valid international G karting licence issued by HKAA

Other requirements: Drivers who have participated in at least one Competition of an FIA Championship or Cup in 2024, 2025 or 2026 are not allowed to participate in the Championship. However, FIA Karting Academy Trophy, and 2025 FIA Karting Arrive and Drive World Cup participation is permitted.

Race regulations: FIA Karting Arrive Drive Asia-Pacific Championship Junior 2026

Senior category

Age requirement: Born between 2008 and 2012

Licence requirement: Hold a valid international E or F karting licence issued by HKAA Other requirements: Drivers who have participated in at least one Competition of an FIA Championship or Cup in 2024, 2025 or 2026 are not allowed to participate in the Championship. However, FIA Karting Academy Trophy, and 2025 FIA Karting Arrive and Drive World Cup participation is permitted.

Starting today, drivers who meet the requirements can fill in the application form to apply for participation in the selection. Please send the application form and past race results by email to motorsports@hkaa.com.hk on or before August 19, 2026, and indicate "FIA Karting Arrive & Drive Asia-Pacific Championship 2026 Selection Application". Acceptance of entry is subject to actual 

availability and relevant review results.
