Grading of competition licences



1.     Grading of motorsport competition licence


Competition licenses are issued based on the FIA International Sporting Code and Appendix L, and National Motorsport Rules. The grading of motorsport competition licence is set in accordance with competitors’ experience, qualifications, racing results, and classification of vehicles. Competitors with accumulated experience can submit application for upgrading their licences.


           

1.1.    Current grades of competition licence issued are as follows :

i.         National Competition B Licence (地區B級比賽執照)

ii.        National Competition A Licence (地區A級比賽執照)

iii.       International Competition D Licence (國際D級比賽執照)

iv.       International Competition C Licence (國際C級比賽執照)

v.        International Competition B Licence (國際B級比賽執照)

vi.       International Competition A Licence (國際A級比賽執照)



2.      Application for competition licence, licence upgrading, and licence renewal procedures


                                                                                                                         

2.1   Novices applying for competition licence must have completed a training course conducted by one of the training schools authorized by the Association. A relevant certificate will be issued by the training school, which is valid for a period of 3 years. 


2.2     Application starts from National B licence, which enables you to participate in National B race. Competitors with accumulated racing experience can apply for licence upgrading so that he/she can participate in higher level international races. 2.4    Disregarding whether it is an initial licence application or a licence renewal application, the applicant must show that he/she is physically fit to participate in this sport. For details, please refer to [FIA International Sporting Code and Appendix L]

2.5      All licence applicants should contact the Association not less than 7-working day in advance for appointment.
